I once had a chance to see these chia plants on a real large field, the plants were about 3 feet from the ground and taller (~ 1 meter high). The seeds float on milk, due to because they have been dried plus each chia seed consist of around ~30% of oil which can also be extracted. Its songs are some of the best the band’s ever written, from the cosmic freakout of “Sun Ra” to the haunting, repeating E-bow riff in opener “Bad Timing.” Pocket Revolution is an eclectic album, as dEUS affairs often are, but it’s held together by a sense of melody that matches their sheer ambition. They’ve released a number of acclaimed albums throughout their career, the most acclaimed of which is 1999’s The Ideal Crash, but Pocket Revolution is ever slightly more epic, eclipsing their previous two records by just a minute or two but feeling immense throughout. But if you’re a fan of OK Computer, make sure to listen to these 10 albums next.Ī band with a bigger audience in Europe, particularly their home country of Belgium, than stateside, dEUS are no strangers to playing huge festival stages. It’s worth noting that if you haven’t heard The Smile’s A Light for Attracting Attention, that should be first on your list. So with this year’s anniversary still fresh in our minds, I put together a list of 10 albums to check out for listeners still seeking music that offers a comparable headphone or home stereo experience. But for those seeking more music that carries a similarly anthemic and experimental scope, with great songwriting at its core, a lot of the usual suspects come up, like Jeff Buckley-whose own music was an influence on Radiohead-or Elbow. There also aren’t many albums like it, unless you’re looking specifically at Radiohead’s subsequent albums, and even then, their music tends to curve into other unpredictable directions. The first proper opus from the UK art rock group, showcasing both the breadth of their capabilities as well as a more conceptual drive that would follow them throughout their catalog, OK Computer felt like a massive statement upon its release, and its reputation has only made it bigger over time. It’s worth pointing out because, at this stage, OK Computer is, undeniably, a classic of the canon, even if we think of Radiohead as a contemporary band. Which means it’s older now than Dark Side of the Moon was when Radiohead delivered their landmark third album. Word spread fast, leading to a slew of festival appearances.Last month, Radiohead’s OK Computer turned 25. The initial fruits of their labour were collected on 2011’s mini-LP The Defect In That One Is Bleach/ We’re Hunting Wolverines, before the bandcamp-only Ujubasajuba became something of an online phenomenon in 2014. Luckily though, we had our producer, Juho Vanhanen, to guide us.”įormed in Seinäjoki, Kairon IRSE! have been playing together for just over seven years. When you play the same songs over and over for that amount of time, you get blind to them. We weren’t doing gigs at all, we were just composing and working on the whole album. “The ideas came from improvisation, but then it was really carefully planned. “We spent something like two and a half years arranging and creating the songs,” says Lehdontie. It’s also the product of meticulous preparation. A skronky fusionist’s dream, it packs in more thrills per inch than it has any right to do. The band’s second album is a dense, fiendishly involved work that navigates a course through rampaging prog, heavy psychedelia, the wilder edges of jazz and strange avant-folk. Ruination is indeed a mighty brute that does its damnedest to defy classification. 8/5/2023 0 Comments Bulk renamerThis license is commonly used for video games and it allows users to download and play the game for free. 8/5/2023 0 Comments Define focusedHelp everyone see your company through customers’ eyes. Share customer data and stories across the organization.Work to connect your entire organization through customer-centric values. Make great customer service a central part of your mission. Here are a few ways to to weave customer orientation into everything you do: For the best possible results, you need the whole company to get customer-oriented. It’s important that customer orientation doesn’t only matter to certain teams. And your approach to customer service can play a big role here. You have an opportunity to get and keep more customers by doing a better job of putting their needs first. They’re not taking a customer-oriented approach to how they do things. Here’s the good news: chances are, your competitors are making the same mistake. Unless you spend most of your day talking directly to customers, their needs probably don’t spend much time at the front of your mind. Your business needs - make more sales, cut more costs - stare you in the face all day long. It’s a lot easier for businesses to focus on what they need instead of what customers need. (They’re clichés for a reason.)Īnd yet… so many businesses still put the needs and wants of the company over what’s best for the customer. There cannot be enough emphasis on the importance of defining what it is that you want, planning and working out the steps you need to take to achieve this, taking the action, and focusing on this, in order to reach the target, or success that you want to achieve. We’ve all heard the clichés about focusing on the customer… There is nothing wrong with amending your plan to achieve your goal, but individuals generally go off on lots of different tangents, as opposed to taking the time to go through the process again: Define, Plan, Action, Focus - Repeat! So often individuals lose focus and start to deviate from the plan they have set themselves. Keep focused on your plan and the actions you need to take, and you will get to where you need to be. Keep assessing and reviewing whether the action you are taking is relevant to achieving your goal. Once you have worked out your plan, then you need to take the necessary, and appropriate action…now here’s the thing, quite often people can feel like they are working hard on ‘doing stuff’ but if the ‘stuff’ isn’t relevant, or isn’t done at the appropriate time/key stage in the process, then progress might be painfully slow, or none existent. There are no short cuts to success, or ‘get rich quick schemes that work’, but you can ‘fast track’ your way to success or that something that you want…so let’s continue with the process, because once you have a model, system and process that works you can do this over and over again. Also if you make a plan, you can do each stage in manageable chunks…generally people who don’t do things in stages or manageable chunks get disappointed or despondent when they don’t reach that ‘something’ quickly, and then they give up, say it doesn’t work and go onto chasing the next shiny penny, or point the finger of blame at others instead of looking inwards and addressing what amendments they need to make to ensure the process works for them. If you don’t plan, how will you know if you are on track, or doing the most appropriate things. Then when you are in that position, it is so important to plan the stages (steps/route) of how you are going to get that certain ‘something’. If you want something in life it really does help to actually break down what it is that you want, to really visualise it, to be clear on the description, and have sufficient clarity of the mind, to define it. 8/5/2023 0 Comments Find my iphone offlineYour friends and family can help you locate your lost iPhone by allowing you to log into your device on their iPhone. The levels of Arcade mode that I cannot seem to get a "gold" star status at are levels 14, 17, 18, 19, 23, 43 and 49. I've gotten a "gold" star in Level 61, if you can believe. I've gotten "gold" star status in all Casual levels and mostly all Arcade levels. While not the most complex title out there, it's still a fun and vibrant entry into the genre that will provide all the frantic, fast-paced farming you can handle. If you were a fan of the original, and indeed of time management games in general, this installment offers up a very smooth and colourful experience that's about as kid-friendly as you can get without including a sock puppet to teach the ABCs. The game will tell you when you can buy certain items, and at times it won't let you proceed until you've bought the items it wants you to. And while there are a lot of upgrades, the illusion of freedom vanishes once you realise you actually have very little choice regarding purchasing them. It doesn't matter if you have product ready to send or vegetables still in the ground that you could earn more money with. Why can't Anna pump water? Why does she have to wait for her grandfather to do it? Another annoyance is that once you meet the requirements for a particular stage, it ends immediately regardless of how much time you have on the clock. The downside is that some of the gameplay restrictions feel a little pointless. It can turn an otherwise viciously difficult level into a merely challenging one. Not only do you have a wider amount of animals, vegetables, and farming implements to purchase, but you can also buy upgrades to each character's speed at any particular task. This time around, you can also use the cash earned from the sweat of your brow to purchase a rather surprising number of animals, vegetables, and upgrades designed to turn you into a farming powerhouse. It feels like the game the original should have been. The farm's layout is much cleaner, and plays a lot smoother. While I can't say I'm entirely fond of the new hand-drawn artwork that lends the characters an eerie, bobble-headed appearance during cutscenes, the entire game as a whole does now look more polished and professional. The gameplay remains the same, and even the bonus levels look familiar, if not identical, to its predecessor. It's more like an expansion pack that got a facelift, but while a lot of the changes are cosmetic, all of them make the game feel much more streamlined. I think you've got it pretty good there, Junior.Īnalysis: Farm Mania 2 doesn't feel much like a sequel. If it seems harsh, just remember that we are talking about an apparently magical world where apple trees take less than a minute to grow. Wait too long, and the item will be wasted. When an object needs something, an icon with a timer will pop up above it, and you'll have a certain amount of time to tend to it. Animals need to be kept fed and watered to produce things like eggs and wool, while your vegetables need watering and weeding to grow. Anna, for example, takes care of animals and most vegetables, while her grandfather handles drawing water, planting feed, and tending trees. Clicking on an object on the farm causes the appropriate character to go and use it. The requirements themselves are displayed at the bottom of the screen and help you keep track of your progress. The in-game tutorial does a good job of walking you through new farm additions as they arrive with a series of small pop-ups that can be turned off with the click of a button if you're already an old hand at the farming biz.Įven if you're not, the gameplay is pretty simple to pick up. Once you begin, take note of the time limit in the upper left corner, since if you fail to meet the requirements before you reach it, you'll have to start all over. The game plays out across multiple levels, each one coming with its own set of challenges required to pass. Now, Anna is back and looking to continue her successful streak in Farm Mania 2. One of the more successful titles was the original Farm Mania from Realore Studios, a time management game that starred a girl named Anna struggling to turn around her grandfather's dilapidated old farmstead. But, like the plucky hero of every 80's teen comedy, the genre has gone on to become remarkably popular. Wouldn't you have loved to be a fly on the wall the first time someone pitched the idea of a farming video game? There was probably a lot of raucous laughter in the boardroom that day, replete with eye rolling and "can-you-believe-this-guy" patronising eyebrow waggles. 8/5/2023 0 Comments Sandisk micromate macEven if you plan to share it with a PC.īecause your Western Digital SanDisk external SSD comes set up as a Master Boot Record.īut when you’re using only on a Mac.
